NCAER has established the Centre for Economic Growth (CEG) with a grant from The Convergence Foundation (TCF) to undertake rigorous, policy-relevant research on the drivers of productivity, employment, and structural transformation in India. With a strong emphasis on state-level analyses, while also addressing national policy challenges, the Centre will generate evidence to support faster, more inclusive, and geographically broad-based economic growth. CEG will combine high-quality empirical research with close engagement with governments and other stakeholders, helping translate evidence into practical policy solutions and contributing to informed public debate on India’s development.
