Centre for States Economic Growth (CSEG)

NCAER has set up a new Centre for States Economic Growth with a grant from The Convergence Foundation (TCF) to undertake rigorous, policy-relevant research aimed at strengthening India’s state-level growth trajectories. The Centre will focus on producing high-quality research with direct relevance to policymaking, fostering constructive policy engagements to influence decision-making, and amplifying data-driven, state-specific growth narratives.
 
Through these efforts, CSEG aims to build the credibility, networks, and public visibility necessary to contribute meaningfully to economic reforms across states.
