Aakash Dev is a Fellow at the Centre for Gender and Macroeconomy (CGM) at the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). He previously served as an Associate Fellow at CGM for approximately two years. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, where his doctoral research focused on labour macroeconomics, particularly the computation of job search models. He completed his Master’s in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi.

Aakash has a diverse portfolio of experience spanning research, teaching, and consulting. He has worked with institutions such as Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, the National Centre for Financial Education, Amity University, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited.
