Aradhna Aggarwal as a Senior Advisor in the Trade, Technology and Skills Unit. Dr Aggarwal has worked with NCAER earlier also as a Senior Fellow in 2012-13.
Dr Aggarwal has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Delhi and did her M.Phil. and Master’s in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and Bachelor’s in Economics (Hons.) from Lady Sri Ram College (DU).
Dr Aggarwal has been a Full Professor at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business in Copenhagen Business School Denmark. She has also taught as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Economics, DU and as an Assistant Professor in Kirori Mal College, DU. She is an applied economist and majority of her work is in areas related to international trade; trade policies; multilateral and regional trade agreements; FDI; global value chains; technology transfer; innovations; special economic zones; industrialization; and, structural economics. She has served as an international expert for a number of multilateral and national organisations including the World Bank, UNDP, UNESCAP, UNIDO, UNCTAD, ADB, GIZ, Ministry of Commerce (GOI). She is currently on the Board of India-Danish Chamber of Commerce; Lifetime Advisory Professor, Yunnan University, Kunming Province, China; and Member Scientific Committee: Innovation and Development Journal.
