Kajal Kumari is a part-time Research Associate in the Centre for Gender and Macroeconomy at NCAER. Her research focuses on crime, flood risk, health, gender, and development macroeconomics, with particular interest in the intersection of environmental and socio-economic outcomes. She has previously worked as a Research Intern at NCAER, and prior to that, as a Research Consultant at DAI Research and Advisory Services, Bihar, and as Research Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Jharkhand.
She holds a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Economics at Shiv Nadar University.
