Anupma Mehta

Anupma Mehta is Senior Consulting Editor at NCAER. She has over 30 years of experience in editorial, feature writing, and publishing, across a range of organisations, including UN bodies, publishing houses, research institutions, and the social sector. She has published opinion articles and syndicated columns on gender and economics in leading dailies. She has also worked with NCAER earlier as Head of Publications and Senior Editor.

Her last role was as Associate Director, Content and Communications, at Ahmedabad University, where she was leading the content delivery and strategy, and writing and editing of diverse company literature for the institution. Previously, she has worked as Editorial Associate, Institute for Human Development (IHD), New Delhi, and as Editor at India Speaks Bureau, a news service. She has also been Consultant Editor and Features Writer for UN Women, World Food Programme, SEWA, Oxford University Press, Penguin Books, McGraw-Hill India, and Prentice-Hall Publishers, among others.

She holds a Master’s in English Literature from Delhi University; Bachelor’s in English (Hons.) from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University; and a Post-graduate Diploma in Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.

Pragati Santolia

Pragati serves as a Research Team Assistant within the Investor’s Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Chair Unit. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Trade and Finance, from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Delhi.

She has worked as a research Intern with the Ministry of commerce and Industry, Govt. of India and V.V. Giri National Labour Institute.

Her research interest includes Gender studies, Labour studies, Human development, and development economics.
