Sanjiv Puri is the Chairman & Managing Director of ITC Limited. He is an alumnus of IIT, Kanpur and Wharton School of Business. During his career of over three decades at ITC, he has held several business leadership positions and also handled a wide range of responsibilities in manufacturing, operations and information & digital technology. Puri has served as the Chairman of the Expert Group constituted by the 15th Finance Commission to promote agri-exports and as a Member of the NITI Aayog technology discussion group. He is currently the Vice President of CII and is on the Governing and the Executive Board of the Indian School of Business. He is also a Director on the Board of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, Co-Chair of the ‘Business Commission to Tackle Inequality’, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and a Member of the BRICS Business Council. He has recently been conferred an Honorary Doctorate by the XIM University, Bhubaneshwar.
