Subrata Sekhar Rath is a consultant at NCAER in the research theme Computable General Equilibrium Modelling and Policy Analysis. His research interest lies in environmental policies and climate finance. Prior to joining NCAER, he worked at the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability as a policy analyst. His work included climate finance projects related to green economic recovery, budgetary analysis for climate mitigation/adaption and carbon tax. He has also worked at the Quality Council of India on projects like Swachh Survekshan, ODF (Open – Defecation Free), Namami Ganga, and more, related to water and sanitation in rural and urban India.
He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from TERI School of Advanced Studies.
