The sixth India Policy Forum (IPF) conference was held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, during July 14-15, 2009. Prof. Guillemaro A. Calvo, Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, delivered the sixth annual IPF lecture titled "Lessons from Systemic Financial Crisis(with Special Reference to Emerging Markets)". A joint publication of NCAER and the Brookings Institution, IPF serves as a forum for a global network of scholars interested in India’s economic transformation. This Volume has been edited by Suman Berry, Barry Bosworth and Arvind Panagariya.
