Aakash Dev

Aakash Dev is an Associate Fellow with the Centre for Gender and Macroeconomy, National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. His doctoral research is in the area of Labour Macroeconomics, in particular, computation of Job Search Models. He did his Master’s in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and Bachelor’s in Economics (Hons.) from University of Delhi.

He has research, teaching, and consulting experience in various capacities with organizations such as Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence; National Centre for Financial Education; Amity University; and PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited.

Sovini Mondal

Sovini Mondal is working as a Research Associate at NCAER. She has a postgraduate degree in Economics specializing in International Trade from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune. She has a working experience at CUTS International, where she worked on projects like analyzing the impact of the inverted duty structures on multiple sectors and women’s engagement in the warehousing sector, and interned at Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), worked on municipal budget data for over 50 municipalities. Passionate about international trade and sustainable development, with her research interests include sampling methods, data collection, data quality, and quantitative research. She also has a knowledge of software such as Stata.
