Raktimava Bose

Mr Raktimava Bose is a consultant at NCAER in the Research Theme of Computable General Equilibrium Modelling and Policy Analysis. He is a macroeconomic modeller with more than four years of experience working in reputed think tanks and also teaching at college. His area of interest lies in Energy Trade, Sustainable finances and Environmental Economics.

He was working as an Associate Fellow in The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) where he had led projects focused on Renewable Energy Trade, Just transition and Economic and Energy Modelling before joining NCAER. He was also a visiting fellow in South Asia Network of Economic Modelling (SANEM).

Tim Deisemann

Tim Deisemann is an Associate Economist at the Office of the Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Previously, he worked as a senior analyst at McKinsey & Company on the Net Zero transition,climate resilience and economic development.

Tim is interested in structural transformation across space, agriculture and the environment. He uses novel methods and high-frequency and administrative data for empirical research on policy-relevant questions. His latest paper, which shed light on the role of farmer beliefs on agricultural productivity in Sub-Saharan Africa was published the Journal of Development Economics.

Tim holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics from Heidelberg University.
