Ayesha Ahmed is working at NCAER as a Research Analyst. While her interests are eclectic, she is most interested in working on issues related to macro-economics, international trade, public finance, inflation, and monetary policy. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Miranda House and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics University of Delhi.
Sanjiv Puri is the Chairman & Managing Director of ITC Limited. He is an alumnus of IIT, Kanpur and Wharton School of Business. During his career of over three decades at ITC, he has held several business leadership positions and also handled a wide range of responsibilities in manufacturing, operations and information & digital technology. Puri has served as the Chairman of the Expert Group constituted by the 15th Finance Commission to promote agri-exports and as a Member of the NITI Aayog technology discussion group. He is currently the Vice President of Confederation of India Industry (CII) and is on the Governing and the Executive Board of the Indian School of Business. He is also a Director on the Board of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, Co-Chair of the ‘Business Commission to Tackle Inequality’, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and a Member of the BRICS Business Council. He has recently been conferred an Honorary Doctorate by the XIM University, Bhubaneswar.
Akansha Atal is working as a Research Analyst. While her interests are diverse, she is most interested in working on primary and secondary research. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi and a Master’s Degree in Economics from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
