Anomita Ghosh is an applied microeconomist specialising in Labour Economics and Public Economics. In her work, she combines theory, rich survey data, administrative records, data from web portals, and the latest causal inference methods to explain how individuals and firms respond to government policies aimed at promoting labour market inclusion. Her current research reflects a broader interest in topics that delve into how labour market policies interact with institutions to improve people’s lives in the face of behavioural biases among policy beneficiaries and decision-makers. She obtained her PhD from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2022 and is currently working as an Associate Fellow at the National Data innovation Centre at NCAER.
She received her Masters from Delhi School of Economics and MPhil from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai. Prior to her PhD, she worked as an Economist at the National Stock Exchange, Mumbai, and as Research Associate at CAFRAL, Reserve Bank of India.
Dhruv Pratap Singh is working as a Senior Survey Operations Analyst at NCAER. He has a Master’s degree in Economics from Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. He is involved in analysing primary data, providing the necessary inputs for formulating survey instruments and sampling strategies, and conducting qualitative studies and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) for projects. He has been part of various studies, including the Assessment Study of Own Source of Revenue (OSR), and An Evaluation of India’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme, among others. He is also well-versed in the use of softwares such as STATA and SPSS.
Vinay Kumar Pandey is a Field Manager at NCAER. He has four years of experience in conducting research studies and devising field-related strategies. He has earlier worked with some of the most prestigious institutes. He was a Research Assistant at the Giri Institute of Development Studies, Lucknow, and a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Vinay has a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Lucknow University, and Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Banaras Hindu University.
Ravi Kumar Gupta is working as a Consultant at NCAER. He has a Bachelors in Economics from the Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi, and a Masters in Agribusiness Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. His areas of interest are development economics, agricultural economics, and data analysis.
Rashmi Kataria is working as a Research Associate at NCAER. She holds a graduation degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University & Post-graduation degree in Social Work from Department of Social Work, Delhi University. Her research interest includes qualitative research with focus on health and education.
