Amit Mitra is a Research Associate in the Computable General Equilibrium Modelling and Policy Analysis department at NCAER.
Mr. Mitra holds a Master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Trade and Finance, from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Presidency University, Kolkata.
He has gained research experience through internships at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal.
Proficient in programming languages such as Stata, R, Python, and EViews, his research interests encompass International Trade, Development Economics, Politics, and Policy Analysis.
