Darshna is a Research Associate in the States, Sectors, Surveys, & Impact Evaluation vertical at NCAER. She holds a Master’s in Economics from Chandigarh University and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University. Her academic training and research interests lie at the intersection of developmental economics, policy analysis, and applied econometrics. Her Master’s thesis, titled “Assessing Driving Forces of CO₂ Emissions: An In-depth Analysis of Developing Economies”, focused on sustainable development in developing countries.
She is well-versed in the use of SPSS, Stata, and Power BI, and econometric techniques such as ARIMA, ARMA, and GMM modelling, alongside data visualization. She also has hands-on experience with large-scale datasets, including NFHS, UDISE+, ASHA reports, RHS, IHDS, and Annual Income reports. Darshna has contributed to multiple research projects, including a sectoral analysis of key development indicators for Odisha’s education and healthcare sectors.
